Have you met this soup? It's the boss of all stews. It combines a symphony of flavors and textures that'll warm you from the inside out, making it the perfect companion on chilly days or when you need a little culinary hug.
Ingredients
1 cup rice
12 oz beef steak
2 cups carrots
2 cups cauliflower
1cup tomato sauce
1 cup mushrooms
4 cups water
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
Step 1: Cook the rice as instructed on a package. Set aside.
Step 2: Cut meat into 1 inch cubes and roughly pulse the veggies in a food processor for a few seconds.
Step 3: Add the cubes of beef steak, cauliflower, mushrooms, and circles of carrots in another cooking pot. Pour 3 cups of water, tomato sauce, salt, and spices. Simmer together for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Scoop 3 Tbsp of the rice on top of the beef gumbo stew when ready to serve and lightly stir.
